Fiber-like powder filler using cellulose nanofiber dispersion technology.
Utilizing our unique CNF dispersion technology, we have successfully commercialized ski and snowboard wax that incorporates functionality demanded by professional athletes while being environmentally conscious.
Seiko Industrial has utilized its unique technologies for crushing, dispersion, and re-agglomeration in its compound business to approach various fillers such as cellulose nanofibers (CNF), graphene, CFRP (carbon fiber), titanium, copper-nickel, and pigments. The product developed based on the cultivated technology is "a ski and snowboard wax that does not use petroleum-based paraffin or fluorine." While paraffin used in conventional ski and snowboard waxes has raised concerns regarding environmental performance, its high glide properties have made it difficult to replace with other materials. However, thanks to our unique dispersion technology, we have achieved the replacement with alternative materials. We have developed and commercialized a non-paraffin, non-fluorine wax that boasts high environmental performance along with the high glide performance demanded by professional athletes. **Technologies Used in Product Development** - Development of CNF powder using cellulose nanofiber dispersion technology ~ Certified Product of the 17th Kawasaki Manufacturing Brand ~ *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.*
